There isn’t a family on the face of this earth that wouldn’t want to go to take a vacation to Universal Orlando! Still, sometimes these getaways can cost an arm and a leg. Good news for families who are thinking about this sort of trip; two new high-value resort hotels are popping up soon at Universal Orlando Resort and they are starting at less than one hundred dollars (USD) each night.
Travelweek reported that Universal Orlando Resort recently made an announcement stating that starting the summer of 2019, two new hotels would be coming down the pipe. The hotels will provide 2,800 guest rooms (combined), which included 1,450 two-bedroom suites geared for larger families. Both hotels also offer nightly rates that start under the costs of the resort’s Aventura Hotel and their Cabana Bay Beach Resort hotel.
One of the new hotels offers 2,050 rooms, while the other has 750 rooms. Both are situated mere minutes from the three Universal theme parks in Orlando, as well as CityWalk’s entertainment and dining options. Some amenities within the hotels include: three pools (as well as poolside bars), fitness rooms, two food courts, plus much more.
In addition, guests staying at either hotel gain access to an even better Universal experience with the Early Park Admission to Universal Studios, Universal’s Volcano Bay, and Universal’s Islands. They also gain access to transportation throughout the destination and charging privileges resort-wide.
The hotels are being developed on a site, 64 acres in size, located at International Drive and Universal Boulevard. They will officially become hotel(s) number seven and eight for the resort.
With the addition of these new hotels, Universal Orlando Resorts now has a total of 9,000 guest rooms within the destination; which also includes Universal Aventura Hotel which opens next summer in August (and comes with 600 rooms).
Wondering when all the Universal fun can officially start? You can begin planning your exciting and adventurous family vacation in mere months! Mark your calendars for early next year, as this is when the two new hotels will begin accepting reservations.
