When it comes to holidays, most people care less about the adventures, activities, or cuisine they get to experience, and more about the weather.
Interesting enough, Norwegian Air understands this idea, and the airline recently rolled out a new feature where pending-travelers can search up destinations spots based on weather and preferred temperatures. Proving once again the innovative lengths air carriers in today’s competitive industry are working towards to differentiate themselves from other airlines, enhance client experience, and to win more business.
Travel and Leisure explained that travelers can now hop on a function known as the ‘route map’ on Norwegian Air’s website and choose between a temperature range, where the feature narrows down the choice selection to about 40 spots that would fit that range. It’s the perfect way to ensure you get the climate you want: whether your idea of a holiday is hitting the snow slopes or having fun in the sun on a beach.
Even better news, no conversion is needed as the route map shows temperature that range in both Celsius and Fahrenheit.
Norwegian Air chimed in on this exciting new feature, with Chief Commercial Officer Thomas Ramdahl noting via an official statement that the company is excited to be the first U.K. low-cost airline to provide this option where clients can pick between destination spots based on what kind of temperature they prefer. He added by relaying that this website enhancement is an investment that offers a new digital route map that will not only increase awareness to clients in regard to the company’s network worldwide reach and providing the most cost-effective air fare prices, but it also makes it simpler for clients to choose where they are flying to next with Norwegian Air.
Sounds like a win-win situation for all: Norwegian Air flyers not only get to easily book holidays gearing towards the temperature they are looking for (and aligned to the travel dates they desire), but they also get it at a price that will make their bank account smile.
Sounds like a good deal to us!
