A Helpful Packing List for Your Family Trip to Disney!

Jaclyn Hughes

You finally did it; you booked your family vacation to Disney! How exciting! Now, the fun part comes into play trying to ensure that you have packed every possible item you may need for all involved. The thing that separates a Disney trip from other holidays is that it can be unbelievably pricey to buy things in and around the massive theme park. If you forgot something as simple as flip flops or over the counter pain relievers, you’ll end up paying three times what you would have at your local store to repurchase them.  If you have any family members that require special equipment or medications during their trip, please make a separate list to include all of those needed items.

Traveling anywhere with the whole family can be an overwhelming experience. The best way to keep your trip running smoothly and cost effective is to pack accordingly and make packing lists! Stay patient, and always keep several things to do in the car or on the plane to avoid any meltdowns. Pack for anything; weather changes, storms, sick kids, food allergies whatever could possible occur. It is best to be prepared rather than have to make trips navigating your way to local shops and spend more money on items you already had at home to have a healthy, and fun vacation! Check your bags at least one time to make sure you have everything crossed off of your lists, and make certain that you adhere to your airline’s carryon packing rules.
