Heartbreak Hotel: The Opening Of Graceland’s Guest House

It’s certainly not located at the end of lonely street, but it is a place many Elvis fans will dream of dwelling at!

Graceland, the home of the “King of Rock and Roll” Elvis Presley, has recently announced the opening of its Guest House, coming in the fall of 2016. The brand-spanking-new hotel will officially open on October 27th, and staff at Graceland are currently, and happily, taking reservations.

The Guest House at Graceland is located on the signature property of the late and great Elvis, in Memphis Tennessee. The beautiful design is inspired by the lavish tastes of Presley, and his need to show nothing but the best and warmest hospitality to anyone who visited him. It is said that many of the specialty VIP suites within the Guest House were designed with Priscilla Presley overseeing every move; and the new hotel is a huge reflection of the style and character of The King, himself.

The official grand opening of The Guest House is scheduled to take place over the weekend of October 27th to the 30th; and is sure to be a star-studded event. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony, celebrity appearances, red carpet events, and exclusive live concerts as well.

While The Guest House is the perfect accommodations for anyone travelling to Graceland, or Memphis’s for that matter, with 450 rooms, it is one of the largest hotels in the area. There is also a plethora of facilities to choose from, including two restaurants (with one that allows for both indoor and outdoor dining), areas for special events, weddings, meetings or corporate functions – and what would Graceland’s Guest House be without a little music and entertainment? The hotel also toots a 464-seat theater that is the perfect venue for movies, or special live performances. Elvis would definitely approve.

The Graceland website reported that the hotel also provides the following amenities: concierge service, room service, a free shuttle to the airport, large pool and pool bar, as well as and outdoor activity and event area.

The hotel certainly won’t leave anyone heartbroken, but it might make a little dent in your bank account. Regardless, it is a must visit on the bucket list of any Elvis fan. If you want to be a part of the grand opening fun, or even Elvis’ birthday celebrations at Graceland in January 2017, you can call Graceland Reservations or visit their website, for more information!
