Carnival Cruise Line recently announced that it will be offering a round-trip, 14-day Alaskan excursion, sailing from Long Beach, California, for the first time in the company’s history.

Rolling out in the fall of 2017, the cruise will showcase seven incredible destinations, including: Glacier Bay; the cruise line’s first-ever trip to Icy Strait Point, a pristine wilderness region that will provide travelers with some of the most excellent bear and whale watching experiences within Alaska as well as the globe’s longest zip-line; and there will also be a UNESCO World Heritage Site stop.

Breaking Travel News reported that this truly unique vacationing experience, the Alaskan Adventure, is just one excursion that will be a part the company’s Carnival Journeys cruise enrichment series. Guests will board the Carnival Miracle for this 14-day excursion, that is set to leave Long Beach, within the first week of September.

In addition to the seven destination points, the excursion will also showcase the amazing ports of the Alaskan state (Ketchikan, Juneau, Sitka, and Skagway); and cruise goers will also be privy to a Canadian port as well, in the form of Vancouver, British Columbia.

Each destination will provide travelers the experiences of drinking in the rich culture and history they have to offer, as well as all the one-of-a-kind natural features they encompass, including awe-inspiring fjords, calving glaciers, as well as the sea and animal life that inhabit these regions.

Still, it doesn’t end there. Travelers that take on this adventure of a lifetime, will also gain exposure to some exclusive experiences onboard the ship, where authentic Alaskan cuisine will be presented for the tasting, as well as a showcase of home-grown entertainment, and cultural experiences, as the ship moves from port to port.

President of Carnival Cruise Line, Christine Duffy chimed into this big news by stating that the 14-day Alaskan adventure her company is offering is like none other. It will combine a variety of seven and eight-day trips, where guests will be provided with a vast array of opportunities to get a close up and view of this beautiful region, while sailing the area.
